Making Paper from your own Fabrics

PaperShift Own Fabric Workshops Poster

These workshops will allow people the rare opportunity to bring along their own special fabrics, which they can pulp in our Oracle Beater then make into unique paper, which they can then use for their own particular projects: family scrapbook pages made from family members’ clothing, wedding album pages made from a wedding dress, creative writing/poetry books made from old school uniforms, for example.  Whether it’s an old pair of jeans, a uniform, or the family table cloth, every rag has a story to tell.  The papermaking process is very therapeutic and the small group sessions create a unique shared experience.  These workshops will take a minimum of 4 hours but can be done over several days if desired.
